From here you can view the VCCA Judging
Manual, Judging Form, read articles that have been in the G&D pertaining
to judging, submit questions to the Judging Coordinator - Steve Scott,
or read what others have already asked him.
Why a Judging Page
These pages are to help you not only understand the policies of the
VCCA in regards to judging, but to assist you in the restoration and
preservation of your vintage Chevrolet.
From here you can begin to understand the judging process of the VCCA.
What class should you be in? What are the judges looking for? How can
you improve your vehicle from the last judged show? The VCCA recognizes
1911-1978, but do they let 1979 and 1980 vehicles on the car show field?
Why?
We hope the following pages will help if you are getting ready for your
first nationally judged VCCA show or you are trying to improve your
points from a past judged show. Even if you aren't going to have your
vehicle judged, maybe we can help you in the restoration process.
Articles on Judging
In the future, we will be posting articles that have appeared in the G&D
on judging. Now you won't have to go through all your G&Ds to find out
what Steve has written, for example, what an "HPOCF" is. All you will
have to do is look here.
